Description

Tsjoncka is a game that was played on Ambon Island, Indonesia during the seventeenth century. Based on its description and name, it is likely to have been a two-row mancala-style game, which could be played either with cowrie shells or seeds as counters.

Rules

2x7 board. Pieces are sown around the board. The game ends when one player cannot sow.
