Edit Reason: added Gale Misere as an AI competition candidate
)
There is a Wikipedia entry with rules at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shannon_sw..._game#Gale.
The size of the game board should not be limited to 6x6. Even though it is proven the first player can alway win with perfect play, much like tic-tac-toe is always a draw with perfect play, it is fun to go second and try to win.
I believe this game would also be a good candidate to use to test AI players in a competition (Especially Gale Misere).
