Hi,
I turned my previous scripts from this thread into a simple script that sets everything up on a Linux laptop (only tested on Ubuntu).
It creates a folder Games in the home directory with a subfolder Ludii, where the ludii jar, icon, trial and other config files are stored.
It also creates a Ludii.desktop file in /usr/share/applications that links to the updater script so that it can be used as an application.
I put the script on my personal website, at https://fabiobarbero.eu/scripts/ludii.sh
You can run it with
Please note that it is NOT a good idea to pipe the content of a website into bash, so you should ideally first download the script locally, check what it does, and then run it. If you do not understand some of the code you can use https://explainshell.com/.
Feel free to reuse the code. Credit is appreciated but not needed.
To anyone in the Ludii team: let me know if you're uncomfortable with me posting the script on my personal site.
