the step and slide ludemes for example move pieces in a different direction than where they are pointing. See this .lud file.
The (rotations) ludeme also outputs an incorrect array when using hex tiling. Using "(rotations All)" in the Test Ludeme Dialog e.g. outputs "{0, -1}".
