Hundreds of the same board games, all from the same source (hunting). Our team has established a database and sent samples to your team. But Lucky Star's gameplay, it's misunderstanding, isn't different. Sometimes, the text explanation is not clear enough, it is not as good as a real player demonstration. (last night i try upload video attachments, not success.)
Lucky Star was designed by my student, a 5 year old girls. The first time I saw the star graphic was from a board game collector in Beijing. Some of his collections have been found in the ludii database. Really know how to play is only 20% of his collection. I can't see all of his collections. He only told me that there are more than 800 collections and he plans to build a museum. It should not be all ancient board games. My research mainly focuses on ancient board games, because its cultural history is so attractive, like a treasure.
The lucky star game is now given to the children to play and draw in the Beijing community by my students as volunteers. If possible, can the LUDII team contact some communities and school to join. On both ends of the earth, there are children who are happily playing the same ancient board game. It is so exciting.
