Hi there.
I'm very interested in the criteria used to select games into the DLP list. Is this formally stated anywhere?
Looking at the list, age seems to be a factor. But do "old" games qualify if their origins can be traced to an inventor?
To pick an example, the origins of the game Agon (not currently in the DLP list) only recently came to light (2010) but it can now be pretty firmly traced to 1842. In theory, that could be older than some of the games listed as DLP on the ludii portal. (For example, it's not impossible that Bashni is newer.)
Regards,
Malcolm
