Hi,
if you are using the "Test Ludeme Dialog" while working on a game you have to reopen it manually each time you want to test on new changes. Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Ludii
2. Open a game with Board size options (Havannah e.g.) (or change a .lud manually)
3. Go to Game -> Test Ludeme
4. Enter "(count Sites in:(sites Board))" into one of Test Ludeme's cells and hit Test. In Havannah's case it should output 169. Keep the Test Ludeme Dialog open
5. Go to Options -> Board Size and select a different size
6. Hit Test again in the previously opened Dialog. It will still output 169 despite a change in board size
This occurs with pretty much anything you can test for in a game's state, not just the number of cells. Ludii 1.3.6.
