Hi,

The rules implemented are the rules coming from a book that we have at the office.
I assume they are not exactly the same of the one in the link you sent us.
I will have to check this in the book.
I will add the author of the game.

Thanks for your comment.

Will statistical data be available about the Kilothon that would allow comparing any game against the results of all entries to find which entries won and lost against it. - and to find which games are most correlated / anti-correlated in terms of the same agents winning and losing?

Will you also publish any groupings of games results based on the greatest similarities in win-loss patterns against the UTC AI?

Hi,

We did not decide yet about this.
We will discuss this after the competition is over.

Regards,
Eric

Are you at least capturing the needed data during the trials?

Hi,

For the kilothon, we get only the final results and not the trials. They do not matter for the competition itself.

You mean you only get the total wins, losses, draws and failed games, not a list of games won and lost?  A missed opportunity to be able to compare the types of games best suited to each team's approach.
