Problem switching back to an internal game - slimy_asparagus - 01-22-2021
I have noticed what is I believe a recent problem, where you cannot use File -> Load Recent to switch back to a game that was previously loaded. On the standard output I see the following:

Compiled Mastermind successfully.
Unable to open file 'Oust'
Compiled Chess successfully.
Unable to open file 'Mastermind'I think it was picking Oust from the preferences file and had not actually had it loaded, but you can see it had had Mastermind successfully loaded.

I have just tried 1.1.13 and I think the issue has transmogrified a little:

I just downloaded 1.1.13 and got a similar problem: in the terminal I read
Failed to load external .lud from preferences
Compiled Surakarta successfully
In the player File/Load Recent it still had the game I was working on. Selecting it gave an error in the terminal
Unable to open file '/home/dale/Ludii/WIP scripts/Throngs working phased multi-move version3.lud.lud'
(note the double .lud)
The I opened it successfully by using the File/Load game from File function and selecting the file.

Yes there seems to be a loading error in the recent games for external lud files.
I will make sure this is working in the next release.
