Could we have guidence on how to ask for help? - slimy_asparagus - 11-19-2020

I understand that if something about Ludii is not working as expected I should boil this down to the smallest possible working example and post that. I did not know that was the best approach.

But this approach won't work for more general questions or questions about documentation. Could we have some advice in the forum somewhere on what the best approach is for different types of questions please?

Hi,

You can do whatever you want on the forum. But that's just easier for us to be focused one question each time rather than a huge list of questions.

If this is comments (not questions), as an example, if something is missing in the documentation or if you find some problems in one of our documentation (with no need of a .lud or an example) a list of these comments is enough.

But for any help about a description about a .lud or something you try to do but you do not get the expected result, one question and a .lud (and if that's complex to replicate, a trial showing the problem) is better for us to react more quickly and to understand your problem in order to help.

Regards,
Eric
