Good morning,
We could save a lot of time if the options of the chosen games were memorized (when loading in offline mode but also and especially during online games).
In fact, I no longer count the number of online matches aborted because I forgot to specify an option like swap or board size, it's a waste of time and it creates "dead" games which clutter the online mode, knowing that it is tedious to delete them or it is not possible to change their options, even if the game has not yet started.
Furthermore, it would also be desirable to be able to modify the game options as long as the game has not started.
Finally, it would be desirable that a player who leaves a game that has not yet started is not associated with it (until it has started).
Indeed, another problem that occurs regularly is the fact that someone can join a game by mistake, which forces currently the person concerned to recreate the game because the person who made the mistake is now associated with that game.

I am more and more in favour of re-implementing all this aspect of Ludii with a new dedicated developer. I will try to find someone interested in this aspect in my institution, but not guaruatee.
