Skirt - Revision - dale walton - 05-31-2023

I revisited this because it is a simple territorial game, but the script plays it out all the way until there are no moves left.

Without changing the rules, it is clear that the win is assured when a player's territory exceeds the count of the other empty sites.
The trick is to correctly define what territory means.

I have now done so, at significant cost to depth of search, but also at very significant shortening of meaningless play after the game outcome should be known.

I have updated the rules and description to reflect the script changes, but logically, the outcome of the rules is identical.

Please update it in the collection.

Hi I just was about to post a further update to allow double moves, but was waiting to see what size played best with humans.

(Double turn) Skirt for humans is a strategy game on hex 6-8.
This also maintains an option for the single turn Skirt which could be considered a learner's version and played on a smaller board - perhaps it could be a rules set to preserves the original game.

So please use this version if possible

I have made further revisions to more accurately test for territory. Unfortunately the tests were and are fairly slow. - The AI can thus recognise an immanent win far sooner than the simple approach, but lacks enough look-ahead to see beyond its own turn.
