Content of folder not showing up in the "Open" window - Michael - 08-20-2022

When I navigate to a certain folder, trying to load a game from a file, the folder shows up as empty. This is not true of all folders. The folder in question is one of those Mac folders that show up with a name in the system language some places and an English name other places. It's my Documents folder. Not sure if that's relevant.

I have averted this until now by simply working from a different folder, but I can't do that anymore. I hope you can figure out what's happening.

Hi Michael,

Can you please open up Terminal, navigate to your Documents folder and tell us what a "pwd" shows? On my machine the process looks like this:

/Users/cambolbro/Documents

The issue might be a security settings issue on OSX. I've never personally used a Mac so don't know much about it, but maybe the instructions described by Stephane Dallongeville in the following thread work for you: https://forum.image.sc/t/not-able-to-open-find-files-from-mac/55404/5
