scaleX, Y in piece foreground - noobby - 08-15-2022

Please have a look at this example of grafic-scaling in piece foreground :
The parameter scaleY seems to have no effect in the example.lud
How can i fix this ?

RE: scaleX, Y in piece foreground - MatthewStephenson - 08-17-2022

Hi,

Thanks for pointing this out.
This was caused by a bug in our metadata code that will be fixed in the next release.
I've attached a picture to show how your attached .lud will look using the corrected code

Cheers,
Matthew

ok, thx. The parameters scaleX and scaleY are also missing in the (show symbol .. ) ludeme,  btw.

RE: scaleX, Y in piece foreground - MatthewStephenson - 08-18-2022

Hi,

The (show symbol .. ) ludeme does have scaleX and scaleY parameters, see page 355 of the ludii language reference (https://ludii.games/downloads/LudiiLanguageReference.pdf)

Cheers,
Matthew

Yes, i know, because I tried to use it, but there scaleX & Y are not working, too. That's what i wanted to say.

RE: scaleX, Y in piece foreground - MatthewStephenson - 08-18-2022

Hi,

Thanks, I understand now.
This bug was caused by the same problem as the piece foreground metadata, so it should also be fixed in the next release version.

Cheers,
Matthew

Hi,
Thank you for fixing this!
And please have a look at the problem of moving a full stack around (like in game Bashni, see details explained here).
I hope this can also be repaired easily, because with hop moves it already works fine.
I am ready to post an interesting new game, just these two visual details are missing.

Best Regards,
