The Digital Ludeme Project concluded at the end of 2023, and its members have since moved on to various universities. Consequently, Ludii had not received updates for a year. However, in June 2024, the Ludii server was relocated from Maastricht University to UCLouvain, where Eric Piette is now based. Ludii has become a cornerstone of the new COST research network called GameTable (2023-2027). More information about this network can be found here: GameTable Network. Over the coming months and years, Ludii will see new features, games, and improvements. For example, the three new games included in this release were created using a new automated process called GAVEL. New Games: - YavaGo (credits: GAVEL) - Havabu (credits: GAVEL) - HopThrough (credits: GAVEL) New Improvements: - Introduction of new ludemes and updates to enhance the design of Shibumi games.
