I don't know why, but on my new M1 pro macbook, I just downloaded Ludii and was unable to load an external .lud file. Any advice?

Hi,
No, all seems to work fine as far as I can tell. What is happening exactly? Regards, Eric

1.3.10 does not recognize any custom .lud files on my M1 macbook pro.
I select load game from file, and it does not show the .lud files in my downloads folder, it just looks empty.

Unfortunately, I do not have any Mac to try this, so I would not be able to tell you. Is it working on a non Mac laptop?

Hello,
I don't know if it can solve the problem but I can see there are two kinds of .lud files (at least on my Ubuntu 16.04): the ones beginning with a "(", and the ones beginning with a "//". The second ones are considered by my OS as C files. So maybe you should see if there is an application attached to the .lud files, and if this application is the ludii player. Also, please take a look (with a text editor) at the beginning of the downloaded .lud files (and try removing the comments at the beginning, if there are any). |
